The Best Of 2001-2021 Rockin' The Nation With No.1 Station celebrates 20 years of the band.

The Blue Beat Label is releasing a Best Of (2001 to 2021) to celebrate 20 years of London-based Blue Beat, Ska, Rocksteady, and Reggae act No.1 Station.


Formed in London in 2001 by singer/songwriter and record producer Marcus Upbeat No.1 Station released their debut album Keep Up the Pressure in 2002. After forming the band in 2001 Marcus contacted Siggy Jackson and The Blue Beat Label was relaunched by the duo in 2004. No.1 Station then initially released six 7" singles - twelve original tracks on The Blue Beat Label and their music has continued to be released on The Blue Beat Label since Siggy Jackson's retirement in 2009. No.1 Station went on to support Roxy Music on their UK arena tour in 2011 and featured on The Blue Beat Label 60 Year Celebration Album in 2020 alongside other "Blue Beat" legends such as Derrick Morgan, Owen Gray, Laurel Aitken, The Marvels, Donna Hinds and Prince Buster.


No.1 Station Best Of 2001 - 2021 Rockin' The Nation With No. 1 Station will be released on Friday, October 29th, 2021, a single from the album "Stop The Fighting" will be available to stream and download the week before on October 22nd.
