Their 2017 tour follows a very busy twelve months for Mrs. Brown’s Boys. After a sell-out tour of Australia and New Zealand and following the ‘live’ episode of Mrs. Brown’s Boys as a special for BBC’s 60 Years of Comedy with an audience of over 11million in July – SHE’S BACK with the hilarious ‘Good Mourning Mrs. Brown’.

 

Recently voted the Best British Sitcom of the 21st Century by The Radio Times, Mrs. Brown’s Boys will make a triumphant return to Irish and UK arenas in 2017. The Award Winning Mrs. Brown’s Boys will be taking over some of country’s biggest venues for residencies including Saturday matinee shows with their production ‘Good Mourning Mrs. Brown’.

 

‘Good Mourning Mrs. Brown’ is part of the hilarious series written by and starring Brendan O’Carroll.  This is the first time the production is heading out as a full Irish and UK arena tour. In this hilarious show in which Brendan has received some of the best reviews of his career, we see Agnes Brown planning Granddad’s funeral. The only problem is granddad is not dead. What could go wrong?

 

Mrs. Brown’s Boys success and achievements has been nothing short of incredible. From awards and accolades including three National Television Awards, TV Choice Awards, two Scottish BAFTAs, three IFTA awards with three nominations this year, a TV Times Award, Royal Television Society Winner and a TV BAFTA for Best Situation Comedy to being a ratings smash across the globe, Mrs. Brown’s Boys live has also broken box office records across the UK and Australia.  Not only that Mrs. Brown’s Boys first full length motion picture Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie was the third highest grossing British film and highest grossing Irish film of 2014.  The BBC One Christmas Specials over the past few years have been the most watched programmes over the festive period, watch this space for more specials due in December.

Traffic delays are inevitable. Please plan your journey and plan to arrive at venue approx 45 minutes before show start time.

We advise people to use Public Transport as much as possible.

Passengers travelling to the Citywest Hotel and Conference Centre for the Disney on Ice show are advised to use the Red Line and alight at Saggart Stop.

Note: If the destination banner on the tram says Tallaght passengers need to change trams at Belgard stop to connect with the Saggart Luas service.

Saggart Stop is the closest Luas Stop to Citywest Hotel. When you get off at Saggart stop on Fortunestown Way walk right towards the junction of Garter Lane.

At the junction turn left onto Garter Lane towards Saggart Village and the entrance to Citywest Hotel is a few minutes walk along that road on your right.

Directions:

From Dublin City Centre, Dublin Port and Dun Laoghaire Port:

• Follow signs for “The West” and “The South”.

• You will come to the M50 (Dublin Orbital).

• Follow signs for the “The South” and exit the M50 at junction 9 then take right-hand lanes, then merge onto the N7 (signposted Limerick & Cork)

• After about 4 miles you will see signs for “Citywest Business Campus”, ignore them and take the following exit marked by brown traffic signs 3A “Citywest Hotel”.

• Exit off the N7 and carry straight on for about a mile.

• Citywest is on your Right

From Limerick, Cork, Clare and Kerry:

• Follow the N7 through Naas towards Dublin.

• Take Exit 3 which will bring you to City West campus.

• Follow signage City West Hotel / Disney on Ice event.

From the rest of Ireland:

• Follow signs for Dublin and you will come to the M50 (Dublin Orbital)

• Follow signs for the “The South” and exit the M50 at Junction 9.Then take right-hand lanes and merge onto the N7 (signposted Limerick & Cork)

CITYWEST EVENT CENTRE PARKING:

Limited parking is available at Citywest Event Centre on a first come first served basis across Event Car Parks 1, 2 and 3 on the property grounds.

Car Parking is free on site within the designated areas. Car Parks are attended during event times. Please adhere to attendant instruction at all times.

Please note that you may be asked to exit the venue out a different route than the one which you came in, however local signage and on Garda Síochána will be on hand to direct you accordingly.

Additional off site car parking at Citywest Campus is provided subject to availability on Saturday and Sunday only. Please follow directional signs to car parks.
